“Fiona The F Word” Shameless Season 5

One of Season 5’s storylines focused on Fiona (Emmy Rossum) eloping with musician Gus. The marriage does not last long and Gus wrote a brutal song about her. In the original script, only 6 lines of the song were written but I saw an opportunity to create an actual song and animated music video for it. Working with series showrunners, animator Mark Auletta and musician Chris Stills, I produced this tribute to their doomed love affair. The video premiered after the episode that the song aired in and was organically picked up by entertainment and news outlets like E, ET, and Buzzfeed.
